History

The company was founded in Monterrey, in the state of Nuevo Leon, northeast Mexico, on August 20, 1959.

Under the name of Pinturas LIMSA, S.A. Later, in 1960, a technology agreement was established with the NAPKO Corporation of Houston, Texas; and today, NAPKO is a private, one hundred percent Mexican-owned company, specializing in the production of a wide range of coatings.
